We collect, process and use your data exclusively on the basis of legal regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), the Data Protection Act (DSG 2018) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG 2003), as well as other applicable EU Legislation.

Data Collection and purposes of data processing

You can generally visit our website without giving any personal information. Some services of the website will require the processing of your personal data. Personal information is all information that is used to identify your person, and which can be traced back to you - such as your name, email address and telephone number. These data will be collected on a voluntary basis.

We only collect, use and disclose your personal data if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the collection of data.

Access data – Server log files

For technical reasons and to optimize the use of the website, we collect data that your Internet browser provides and store them as “server log files” on the sever of the website.

These include:

  • Transmitted data volume
  • Source/reference from which you came to the page
  • Browser you used
  • Operating System
  • Your Ip- Address

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The storage of the data is done anonymously (without personal reference) and for security reasons, for example to clarify cases of abuse. If data must be revoked for reasons of proof, they are excluded from the deletion until the incident has been definitively clarified.

Contact information

If you contact us via the form on the website or by e-mail, your voluntarily provided personal data will be stored and processed. The purpose is the processing and technical administration of the request as well as possible follow-up questions. Data is stored by us for six months. You can see the data we collect from you in the contact form. You may at any time request that your personal data is deleted by any of the means shown in Contact below.

Partner Area

If you register as a user in the Partner Area, you expressly declare your consent to this data processing. Without this consent your registration is not possible. We process your personal data for the technical administration of the registration process.

You can view and change your profile data at any time. Furthermore, you have the right to receive information on request at any time as to which personal data about you, the data subject, is stored. Your consent for data storage and processing can be revoked at any time. The controller corrects or deletes your personal data at the request or notice of the data subject, as far as no statutory storage requirements are in conflict.

Your User ID will be logged and store on the website when you enter the Partner Access Area.

The correct performance of services provided in this reserved area requires the entry of data which will be processed and stored on the web-based platform.

These include following categories:

  • Data on the contractor and possibly other involved persons
  • Data of legal entities involved
  • Risk relevant details
  • Product wishes, purpose and scope of requested cover

Recipient of the data

The data entered in the Partner area are processed internally by the web-based platform quaroni.riskengineers.eu for the stated purposes and are transmitted upon your specific request, to the respective (Re)Insurance Company.

Legal basis and disclosure of personal data

All personal data are processed in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. The processing is carried out on the following legal basis:

  • Art 6 -1 (f) DGSVO_GDPR Legitimate Interest, for IT security reasons and for the further development of our software
  • Art 6 -1 (b) DGSVO_GDPR to fulfill our contractual agreed services such as risk analysis, and generating a non-binding insurance proposal
  • Art 6 -1 (c) DGSVO_GDPR for the compliance with our legal obligations as a (Re)Insurance Broker.

We will not retain your data for longer than necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was stored or as required by law. If data is not covered by a statutory filing obligation, we will delete your data as soon as the purpose for which they were collected has ceased.

The data provided by you will be kept strictly confidential. Without your consent, we will not disclose personal information unless we have a legal obligation to do so. We point out, however, that the transmission of data on the Internet can always lead to third parties taking note or falsifying your data.

Use of third-party providers

The data you provide are processed by REE-Risk Engineering GmbH internally for the stated purposes. Within our company we also use third-party providers such as Microsoft Azure, Dropbox, Key Systems GmbH with whom data processing contracts are in place in accordance with Art.28 DSGVO-GDPR.

Your Rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection of your stored data. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to us at office@riskengineers.eu or the Data Protection Authority.

Change of privacy policy
